Woodstock

Woodstock is one of the most well-known and influential music festivals of all time. Here at TIV we have a tradition of recapturing the love and peace of music and people in a "Woodstock" of our own. There are many acts from various age groups performing music from all genres. You also don't need to have had any musical experience as first timers get the chance to learn in the weeks leading up to it. Performances are also not just from singers and bands as there are comedy acts, dance acts and even poetry.

Kids and staff really get into the sixties spirit by dressing up in flowers and face painting as they listen to the performances on the field. Yes, the field, as the festival is held on the main outside stage. The music goes on through until the dark hours of night and the kids and staff get the chance to all sleep out under the stars after. All of this makes it a memorable experience for all involved.

Below is some of the pictures from the first session's "Woodstock"...

Peace Baby!

"Don't swallow the mic!"

Cheesy smiles all-round...

Anything goes as an act, including prancing about on stage and being groovy!

Sleepy heads get comfortable for a night under the stars.

These girls got the crowd going with a little help from some Hip Hop from 'Sean Paul'.

"Cool and Creamy..." Seniors perform the Woodstock evening show tradition.

The animals at TIV are soooo talented!

Is a bird?, is it a plane?.. no it's just Super Logan attempting a new stage dive! Good job Noah was there to catch him!

"Click Me" to go back home!

Don't forget to look out for the 'Session 2 Woodstock' feature coming in Issue 4!!!
