Thoreau
What it's been for me is everything...
it's given me the ability to
find the person that I am
and to feel good about that person.
It's given me the ability to
change
and to accept that change
For me, in my life, changing is
the only thing that is constant
Thoreau has been a place where
people understand what love can be
And what giving a person
a hug or a smile will do.
It's given me the music that I understand
which I now sing,
And it's shown me the ideas
that I now believe.
Thoreau for me is a home
Where I've lived and loved
and where I can take what is given
and continue to grow.
